Svanuri marili is a fragrant blend of salt, garlic and mountain spices (utskho-suneli, coriander, caraway, dill, chili, Imeretian saffron), from high-altitude Svaneti.

An all-purpose seasoning, it salts meat, vegetables, soups and potatoes, giving dishes a distinctive, complex aroma.
