Family winery, the Tchotiashvili brothers

Tchotiashvili Family Vineyards is a family winery in the Kakhetian village of Saniore (Telavi), on the right bank of the Lopota river in the Alazani valley. The family's winemaking tradition spans six generations, going back to the early 18th century.
The estate is now run by brothers Kakha and Ucha Tchotiashvili; Kakha serves as winemaker and technologist. In 2002 they planted rare local varieties on experimental plots, and in 2013 the business became the company Satsnakheli.
The wines are made from Rkatsiteli, Saperavi, Mtsvane Kakhuri, Tavkveri, Khikhvi, Kisi and Mtsvane, yielding red, rosé, white and amber styles. Kakha personally inspects and signs every bottle before release.
