Cornmeal cheese bread

Chvishtari is a cornmeal cake mixed generously with sulguni cheese and pan-fried to a golden crust, with the cheese melting and stretching inside.

It hails from western Georgia, above all Samegrelo and Guria, where maize is a staple. It is served with lobio or on its own.
