White semi-sweet, Lechkhumi

Tvishi is a naturally semi-sweet white from Tsolikouri, from the Tvishi micro-zone in Lechkhumi. It is one of the few Georgian semi-sweet whites with protected origin.
Lechkhumi's cool mountain climate stops fermentation naturally, leaving some sugar. The wine is pale, with notes of pear, peach, white flowers and light honeyed sweetness over lively acidity.
Tvishi is the white counterpart of Racha's Khvanchkara: the same noble natural semi-sweet from a western mountain zone.
