Dry, Kakheti (red & white)

Napareuli is an appellation on the left bank of the Alazani, giving both dry red (from Saperavi) and dry white (from Rkatsiteli). The micro-zone lies at the Caucasus foothills, on the valley's cool northern slopes.
Red Napareuli is more restrained and fresher than south-bank Mukuzani, with vivid acidity and a berry profile. The white is clean and mineral, with citrus aromatics.
The coolness of the Napareuli zone lends the wines more elegance and «nerve» than the hot southern micro-zones of Kakheti.
