Coffee roasters, a courtyard behind a garage door

Shavi, Georgian for black, roasts its own coffee and keeps several rooms around town; the first opened in 2021 and much of the Tbilisi speciality wave started there.

This one, in Sololaki, hides behind a garage door with a shaded courtyard inside. There are others on Ninoshvili and Zandukeli streets. Besides coffee there is matcha, pastry and light food.
