Adjaruli khachapuri

Adjaruli khachapuri is shaped like an open boat: dough walls hold molten cheese, and just before serving a raw egg and a knob of butter are set in the centre.

The yolk and butter are stirred into the hot cheese, and pieces torn from the boat's edges are dipped in. The shape is popularly likened to a boat on the Batumi sea.
