Rveli

Dinner in Borjomi, at the edge of town

Borjomi is known for its mineral water and its park, but people usually lunch in town and dine on the way out: Rveli stands along the road north of the centre, by the Mtkvari, and remains the most visible restaurant in Borjomi.

The cooking is Georgian and without experiments: khinkali, ojakhuri, mtsvadi over coals. The place suits those driving on to Bakuriani or Vardzia who want to eat before the road.
