Modern, tunnel cellar at Kvareli

Khareba is a large modern winery known for its tunnel cellar cut into the rock near Kvareli: kilometres of galleries, bored in the Soviet period, keep a constant coolness for ageing.
The company works with a wide range of Georgian grapes and styles, from dry European to qvevri, and targets the domestic market as well as export and wine tourism.
The Kvareli tunnel has become one of the tourist attractions of the Georgian wine region.
