1121
On 12 August 1121, at Didgori near Tbilisi, David IV routed a vastly superior Seljuk coalition.
The victory, which Georgians call the «Didgori miracle», broke Seljuk dominance in the Caucasus.
A year later Tbilisi was liberated; Didgori became a symbol of Georgian military glory and national revival.
