Rezo Gabriadze (1936–2021) was a Georgian artist, sculptor, writer and screenwriter, founder of the Tbilisi Marionette Theatre, a one-man orchestra of late-20th-century Georgian culture.
He wrote the screenplays for «Mimino», «Don't Grieve!» and «Kin-dza-dza!», composed and staged puppet plays, drew and sculpted city monuments. His marionette parables have been played around the world.
