The pink house by the park, Kutaisi

A family restaurant in a pink house at the edge of the Central Park, on Paliashvili Street. The building once held a bank and kept its parquet and high ceilings; the furnishings were gathered by the owners themselves, brought from their village in Lechkhumi.
The cooking is Imeretian and Georgian at large: Imeretian khachapuri, khinkali, lobio, a gobi platter of starters. The wine is local, including that of Baia Abuladze, and the beer is craft from Tskaltubo.
In the evenings there is live music: almost daily in summer, at weekends in winter, most often polyphony. Open from two in the afternoon until two at night.
