Megrelian cooking in a courtyard with lemon trees
Alubali is Georgian for sour cherry. The cooking here is western, Megrelian: sharper and more walnut-heavy than the Kakhetian kind, with adjika, sulguni and gomi instead of bread.
In summer you sit in the courtyard among flowers and lemon trees, in winter indoors. Better to book, the place is well known.
