The coat of arms of Georgia shows St George on horseback spearing a dragon — a silver figure on a red shield. The shield is topped by a gold crown and held by two golden lions.

Below runs a ribbon with the national motto «ძალა ერთობაშია» («Strength is in unity»). The composition draws on the medieval heraldry of the Bagrationi dynasty and the Christian veneration of St George, patron of Georgia.

The modern arms were adopted on 1 October 2004; they were designed by the heraldist Mamuka Gongadze.
